VISION

BIP aims to be a consulting success story, on a par with leading international consulting firms, and to be regarded as an important alternative to traditional suppliers. Our growth is driven by trust and collaboration, entrepreneurship and courage, meritocracy and development.

PRINCIPLES

Ongoing satisfaction of our customers and of our resources for the work done and the results achieved; working not only “for” customers, but “with” customers, leveraging their experience and point of view.

Confidentiality of internal, customer and partner information, and compliance with the applicable Privacy legislation.

Dedication and perseverance in pursuing continuous improvement goals and communicating accomplishments to stakeholders.

Honesty, trust and transparency towards colleagues and customers, regardless of the profitability for BIP of any recommendations made.

Teamwork: collaborating and working in a team to achieve shared goals, respecting the ideas and opinions of others and adopting a model of shared responsibility. We promote an environment where people can grow, together, and where collaboration between different capabilities is key.

Flexibility: an openness to change tack when faced with evolving challenges

Leadership: an ability to make decisions, to engage and lead others by motivating and stimulating them; a risk-based approach to achieving business objectives and fulfilling stakeholder expectations.

Balance and reliability: exchanging thoughts with others, especially in difficult situations, and sharing useful information so as to assess every variable before making a decision. Result orientation, dedication and a tireless pursuit of goals.

Legality: observance of the laws, standards and regulations in force in all the countries where BIP operates, paying particular attention to health and safety at work, environmental protection and the prevention of corruption, which is expressly prohibited by our organisation. BIP is committed to conducting its business in such a manner as to remain extraneous to bribes and neither facilitate nor risk involvement in potentially illegal situations, in relations with both public and private entities. To this end, it observes the laws, standards and regulations on fighting and preventing corruption, in Italy and in all the countries where BIP operates or may operate going forward. Non-compliance with the above principles results in applying the disciplinary system provided for by the applicable collective agreement, as well as by the Organisation, Management and Control Model drawn up in accordance with Italian Leg. Decree 231/01, where applicable.

Protection of individuals and their private life: development of a working environment where every employee and collaborator is protected; respect for the privacy of colleagues and collaborators.

Participation and engagement: raising awareness, providing information and training all staff on the importance of the role each person plays in day-to-day prevention practices; involving individuals in the implementation of effective actions aimed at improving workplace safety and environmental protection; raising awareness on the importance of compliance and the risks of non-compliance; promoting the active participation of workers and their representatives in business life; involving suppliers and partners in achieving set goals, in conducting controls and in the drive for continuous improvement.

Meritocracy and professional growth: recognising merit; promoting continuous training and staff awareness.

Sustainability: protecting the environment by means of measures to prevent or reduce the environmental impact of processes; research into environmentally friendly solutions with a lower environmental and energy impact; choice of products and solutions selected to promote eco-friendliness and life-cycle analysis.

Health and Safety at work: Ensuring the well-being, health and safety at work of all the people who work with us and preventing work-related injuries and illnesses is our top priority.

Whistleblowing: BIP encourages reporting suspicions of misconduct, either in good faith or on the basis of a reasonable and confidential belief, and protects the whistleblower from any form of retaliation. To this end, an electronic whistleblowing channel has been set up, ensuring the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity via computerised means.

Anti-Corruption System and Anti-Corruption Department: BIP has chosen to apply the ISO 37001 standard, defining an organisation model based on pursuing continuous improvement in the prevention of corruption. With this in mind, an Anti-Corruption Department has been set up and entrusted to a high-profile, upstanding figure unconnected with the company’s operational processes.

BIP is committed to applying this Policy by setting in place procedures, rules and instructions designed to ensure that the values expressed herein are reflected in every person’s behaviour and to implement increasingly effective operational control, monitoring and measurement systems.

BIP provides all the resources needed to develop and maintain its Integrated Quality Management System for the Protection of the Environment, the Health and Safety of Workers and the Prevention of Corruption, in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 37001 standards.

BIP adopts strategies based on risk analysis and periodically assesses risks and opportunities related to the development and maintenance of its Management System, setting consistent goals and targets and developing continuous improvement programmes.

BIP is committed to communicating and making its Policy available to all stakeholders, and to reviewing it regularly to ensure that it continues to be appropriate for and consistent with its improvement goals.
