Biography
Donato Iacovone has a degree in Economics from the Università of Pescara and furthered his studies at Chicago Northwestern University and Harvard Business School in Boston.
Over the last 40 years, he played a pivotal role in EY’s development in Italy, Spain, and Portugal, overseeing operations in the public and private sectors. From 2000 to 2010, he served as CEO of EY Consulting. In 2010, he was appointed CEO of Southern Europe, becoming member of the EMEIA board. From 2019 to 2024, Donato served as Chairman of Webuild S.p.A and Vice President of Open Capital Partners SGR S.p.A. In 2024, he was appointed Executive Chairman of BIP.
Driven by his dedication to foster digital culture for national modernization, Donato has promoted alliances between companies and governmental institutions, investing in the younger generations. Donato is also lecturer in Business Modeling and Planning at Luiss University.
