Biography
Hernando Baquero is Managing Director Colombia at BIP. With more than 25 years of experience in information technology management consulting across North Latin America, he has supported financial services, consumer goods, and industrial companies in addressing strategic IT and operations challenges. At BIP since 2004, he has led IT strategic planning and IT management model transformation for over one hundred organizations. He has overseen blueprints and execution of mergers and divestitures, including AFP Porvenir–Horizonte and Citi-Colfondos. His expertise includes enterprise and IT architecture, big data and business intelligence initiatives, and project management and quality assurance for mission-critical software implementations across multiple industries.
